ZapSubs is an AI-powered subtitle generation service. Free users can generate captions and export videos with no watermark using the free presets, and download up to 3 SRT/VTT files per month. Pro subscriptions unlock animated presets, unlimited subtitle file downloads, and additional editor features. Accounts are optional for the free path and required for Pro billing and some signed-in features.
Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to process the content they upload. You must not upload copyrighted material without permission, illegal content, or content that violates any laws or regulations. Users are responsible for reviewing and editing generated subtitles for accuracy.
We process uploaded files to generate subtitles and delete them after processing according to our retention practices. Optional accounts (via Clerk) store authentication details needed for Pro and signed-in features. Payment data for Pro is processed by Stripe. We do not sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
ZapSubs is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of generated subtitles. Users should review and edit subtitles before use. We reserve the right to limit usage, modify the service, or discontinue it at any time. Processing times may vary based on file size and server load.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through our website or contact methods.
ZapSubs is provided on an "as is" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of generated subtitles. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of our service.
Users retain all rights to their original content. Generated subtitles are provided to users for their use. ZapSubs retains rights to the service itself and its underlying technology.
These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
